The lined burlap curtains

I am use to the old types of curtains, which my mother personally sews. We even still have our old curtains but since my parents move to a different house and I am the one taking care of our old house. I was planning; actually, I have been planning since that I would change the house to my taste. I sent my parents old curtains to their new house, throwaway old and dusty stuff so the house will have wider space. I bought new set of curtains that I like and once or twice a week look for a different and nice curtain so I have a replacement curtains to hang in my windows.

Just recently, I wanted to buy new set of curtains again just like the one I saw in my friend’s house. She said that the curtain is the lined burlap curtains her mother-in-law’s gift to her. I really like that curtain, and for a change I want to try different stuff from rearranging the furniture to changing the curtains again until I can finally decide which stuff needs to go and stay.

During Election Day

While people are busy looking for their respective precinct and other’s are busy listing their candidate. I was busy washing my clothes, cleaning the house and bathing the dogs. The BF really gives extra time to go online and look which precinct we must go. Last election, I voted together with my mother and younger sister but now since I am only the one going to the elementary school to vote. I choose not to vote just like my parents. My father is registered in Bukidnon while my mother and I registered here in Cagayan. I was really planning to vote that day, but when I heard that some of the machine uses in the election are not functioning. I just change my mind and stay at home while almost all the people vote that day.

By the way, I am not only the one who did not vote, I heard some of the people inside the jeepney did not vote as well because of the long line and it was already raining hard that time. I am just happy though that the major in our City that I should be voting won. Finally, a different major is seating and hopefully something will change.
